Your site is so beautiful and comforting! I found it via kicya webtiles. It makes me remember being 12, of stepping into a bait shop with my grandfather and the old carpet is stained and it all kind of smells like cigarettes and coffee and minnows, in a safe way. Weird dusty packages on the shelves that have been there way too long. Ah. Thanks for the vibes :D

Yess!! That's the exact vibe I was going for!!!! I love it, and I've longed for it since my hometown's smaller bait shop moved to a different spot. I remember the fishy and ciggy smells, stained carpet, and the constant dribble from the bait tanks. I'm glad you find it comforting :) <3

i love your gars-and-cars website! everything is organized so well. the tom cruise war of the worlds is also a childhood comfort movie for me - him throwing the pb&j against the window has stuck with me for years

Hi! I just wanted to say that I stumbled across this site on accident and immediately felt at home as I browsed through it. In many ways I was comforted by it. I especially loved the page about the prehistoric fish with Weird Fishes by Radiohead playing. It made me a bit emotional. I love the details on this site, and as a fellow fish lover, all of the many aquatic gifs (and the cursor fish) make me so happy!! Love the natural vibe of the whole site. It's uplifted my mood today and I'll definitely be visiting again!
